Sophie Jones

Narra Sophie:

Hoy es el día en el que mi vida podría cambiar, o seguir como siempre. Hoy es el día de mi audición en TXF.

Ya sé que tendría que estar nerviosa, más bien, estallando de los nervios, pero no, para nada estoy así.

Al contrario, estoy ansiosa por pisar el escenario y cantar.
Me levanto de la cama, y me dirijo hacia el armario. No me cuesta mucho decidir lo que usaré para audicionar, ya que no soy de arreglarme; pero para esta ocasión decido agregar un chaleco con tachas a mi clásico estilo de: remera, jean, y borcegos. Aunque claro, la remera sí tiene el estilo. Posee una gran estampa de una calavera {http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=69905453&.locale=es}.

Me pongo las prendas directamente, ya que tomé una ducha por la noche, para no tener que levantarme temprano. ¡Odio hacerlo!

Al terminar de cambiarme, agarro mi bolso y salgo de casa. Vivo con mis padres, pero, ellos no quieren escuchar nada sobre la música y yo. No desde… lo que pasó con mi hermano.

Al salir hacia la calle, diviso un taxi y lo paro. Me subo a este y le indico que me lleve hacia el Starbucks más cercano, ya que no desayuné.

Pasaron exactamente 3 minutos, y llegamos a destino. Le pago al taxista y bajo del auto.

Diviso la puerta de Starbucks y me dirijo hacia dentro. No había fila. Suerte. Me dirijo hacia la caja y pido un café cortado y un muffin. Al cabo de menos de 10 minutos me entregan la orden, y pago.

Pero antes de cruzar la puerta, un imbécil me choca, haciéndome tirar mi café en su remera. Bueno, lo último no es malo, al contrario, ¡es fantabuloso! Al levantar la mirada, me encuentro con un adolescente portador de ojos celestes y cabello teñido a rubio. Aunque parece arrepentido, no pienso perdonarlo.

-¡Lo lamento tanto! No quise chocarte, es que, tenía apuro por mí… hambre. –responde sonrojado.

-Já, claro que lo lamentas, por tu culpa perdí mi café. Aunque, ahora es tu problema. –respondo señalando su camisa, y largo una risa demasiado sonora.- Que bonita que te queda rubio. –le guiño un ojo y me retiro de la cafetería.

Camino unas 4 calles, y me encontraba frente a los estudios. Y lo mejor, ¡no había fila! Esto de no desayunar en casa tiene sus ventajas. Bueno, había una diminuta de unas ¿23 personas? Nada comparado con lo que pensaba.

Me dirijo hacia la fila, y espero por un rato largo. Al mirar hacia atrás, diviso a más de un millón de personas detrás de mí. WOW. No puedo creerlo. Aunque me doy cuenta de que el mismo rubio teñido se encuentra en la fila, con una nueva camisa roja a rayas, solo a una distancia de 20 personas. Bueno, ¿qué me interesa?

Espero unos 20 minutos más y un empleado abre la puerta. Camino unos 15 pasos y me encuentro frente a las mesas de inscripción. Una señora me pide mis datos, se los concedo y me da el número en un sticker. 63698. Siempre lo recordaré.

Le pregunto a la señora a dónde me tenía que dirigir, y me señala, sin mirarme, una puerta blanca. Wow, sí que es amable (nótese mi sarcasmo).

Emprendo mi camino hacia la puerta, pero antes, algo me llama la atención, una chica choca a otra chica pelirroja y la derriba al suelo. Trato de reprimir mi risa, y entro al cuarto.

Solo unas 3 personas se encontraban en esa habitación, y debo decir que, nada interesantes.

En menos de 10 minutos siento que alguien me llama: ‘’ Número 63698, de nombre Sophie Jones. Sígame, por favor”.

Es el momento. ¿Pasaré? No sé. Y si no lo hago, no sé qué haré.

En menos de un parpadeo, me encuentro caminando hacia el escenario.

-Hola, ¿cuál es tu nombre? –me pregunta Britney Spears, todavía no mirándome.

-Sophie Jones. –respondo fríamente. Si ella no me presta atención, yo le haré lo mismo, ¿o no?

-¿Cuántos años tienes Sophie? –pregunta nuevamente Britney, esta vez, mirándome y dirigiéndome una sonrisa.

-17. –le sonrío devuelta. Ahora sí.

- ¿Qué canción cantarás?

-Buena suerte.

Miro hacia arriba y espero a que la melodía comience. Al empezar, miro hacia los jueces, y la audiencia. Comienzo a cantar.

-Gracias, de verdad.

-Personalmente, me gustó mucho tu audición. Hubo momentos en que se notó lo nerviosa que estabas. Pero, sin darle importancia, seguiste. Cosa que me encantó. Tienes una gran voz y talento. –dice Demi para luego sonreírme.

-Sinceramente, a mí me encantó como dominaste el escenario, y como hacias esos gestos al cantar. Eres adorable, y muy talentosa. – dice Britney sonriendo.

-Yo… realmente, creo que no fue la gran cosa. No me malentiendas, pero, creo que te pareces a Cher Lloyd en algunos sentidos. Y, no me gusta eso. Aunque, creo que tu voz es buena, no creo que estés lista para el concurso. –respondió Simon mirándome serio.

-¡¿ESTÁS LOCO?! ¿ENSERIO CREES QUE SE PARECE A CHER LLOYD? Creo que estás completamente fuera de lugar. Yo realmente creo que Sophie es realmente original, y demasiado talentosa. ¡Su voz no es solamente buena! Es fantástica. Creo que deberías lavarte la cera de los oídos Cowell. –le respondió L.A haciéndome reír, y también al público.

-Yo creo lo que creo Reid. Lo siento Sophie, pero para mí es un no. ¿Demi?

-Creo que Simon está absolutamente equivocado. Para mí es un gigantesco sí. ¿Britney?

-Estoy de acuerdo con Demi, Simon, estás completamente erróneo. Para mí es un sí. ¿L.A?

-Simon Cowell, estarás arrepentido por el resto de tu vida. ¡ES UN ABSOLUTO SÍ! ¡ENTRAS AL BOOTCAMP!

- ¡OH POR DIOS! GRACIAS. – les dirijo una gran sonrisa, corro hacia detrás del escenario, y salgo con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja.

Por fin mi sueño se cumplirá.
