Cuando finalmente ambos se atreven a aceptar que se aprecian más de lo que dos simples mejores amigos deberían. Luego de la confesión que tanto ansiaban, solo esperaban mantenerse juntos, y que aquellas palabras fueran lo suficiente para demostrar todo lo que no se habían atrevido a confesarse en esos años. Porque todos ese tiempo, su relación solo se había basado en mentiras piadosas, pero ahora ya no lo eran tanto. Había muchas cosas en juego.

¿Simple y sencillamente este era el final del comienzo de su complicada relación? Para él, era casi imposible aceptar que todo había sucedido de esa forma, aún no podía asimilar la idea de que Samantha ya no estuviera en su vida. Pero después de todo, así lo deseaba ella, deseaba cortar con todo, irse, escapar. Y si así iban a suceder las cosas, él, se aferraría por última vez a ella, y finalmente la dejaría ir, dejaría ir todo. Aunque fuese casi imposible hacerlo.
